Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years direct sales experience in luxury or complex hotel environments
  • availability to travel 4-6 times annually
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • strong negotiation and closing skills
  • commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service

Job Qualifications

  • preferred experience as a senior sales manager or director of national accounts
  • proven track record exceeding production goals in a dynamic hotel environment
  • experience in luxury resort or complex hotel sales
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • excellent selling, negotiating, and presentation skills
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • residency within San Diego or Southern California region

Job Duties

  • drive hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts
  • manage key accounts and nurture client relationships
  • develop strategic business opportunities to meet revenue goals
  • prepare and present effective sales proposals
  • conduct site inspections with strong presentation skills
  • manage time efficiently while meeting multiple deadlines
  • maintain accurate documentation and sales reports
