Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years direct sales experience in luxury or complex hotel environments
- availability to travel 4-6 times annually
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- strong negotiation and closing skills
- commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
Job Qualifications
- preferred experience as a senior sales manager or director of national accounts
- proven track record exceeding production goals in a dynamic hotel environment
- experience in luxury resort or complex hotel sales
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- excellent selling, negotiating, and presentation skills
- strong organizational and time management abilities
- residency within San Diego or Southern California region
Job Duties
- drive hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts
- manage key accounts and nurture client relationships
- develop strategic business opportunities to meet revenue goals
- prepare and present effective sales proposals
- conduct site inspections with strong presentation skills
- manage time efficiently while meeting multiple deadlines
- maintain accurate documentation and sales reports
