Job Duties
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet or exceed business travel revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication

- produce room, banquet, and room rental revenue through aggressive prospecting, presentations, contract development, negotiation, and sales closing
- maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel both orally and in written form to previous, current, and potential clients
- handle account details ensuring all solicitation and closing aspects are complete and documented
- coordinate departmental participation in servicing accounts
- develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
- prepare information for and entertain clients to secure business
- communicate effectively with hotel departments to ensure high service quality
- prepare correspondence, internal booking reports and maintain files
- participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training and sales-related meetings
- attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings
- stay updated on market trends, competition and key customers
- comply with attendance rules and regularly report for work
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
