Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of group sales experience within a full-service hotel
- Working knowledge of Delphi preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work office hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility for onsite event support
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of group sales experience within a full-service hotel
- Working knowledge of Delphi software preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sales and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Experience in managing customer relationships and delivering sales targets
- Proficient in strategic business planning and execution
Job Duties
- Research and generate new leads for group opportunities through proactive sales efforts
- Represent the hotel in developing market segments and customer relationships while maintaining assigned accounts
- Develop business strategies by analyzing hotel and market trends to implement marketing initiatives
- Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing detailed plans and goals
- Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person
- Create and maintain client relationships to set and meet expectations
- Apply strong sales, communication, and networking skills in customer and account management, prospecting, and negotiations
