Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of sales, catering, and/or events experience in full-service hotel
  • Working knowledge of Delphi is highly preferred
  • Flexible scheduling for onsite events
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills
  • Valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of sales, catering, and/or events experience within a full-service hotel
  • Working knowledge of Delphi software is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in strategic business planning and market analysis
  • Flexibility to work onsite events as needed

Job Duties

  • Research and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
  • Represent the hotel in developing market segments and maintaining client relationships
  • Develop business strategies by analyzing hotel and market trends to meet sales goals
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties with clear goals and plans
  • Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, and in person
  • Create and maintain client relationships to set and meet expectations
  • Demonstrate strong sales, communication, and networking skills to qualify, negotiate, and secure new revenue
  • Apply strong sales skills to differentiate Hilton and create customer value
  • Demonstrate mastery of prospecting processes and prepare call strategies
  • Understand customer and business leader expectations during negotiations
