Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
- Or two-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work full time at The Westin Seattle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data
- Proven customer service skills and ability to handle guest concerns effectively
- Knowledge of compliance standards and procedures
Job Duties
- Manages execution of all operations in rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
- Leads specific team and assists with meeting or exceeding property goals
- Creates and nurtures a property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and passion for service
- Monitors compliance with standards and procedures
- Provides excellent customer service by being available and approachable for guests
- Reviews financial statements and performance data to measure productivity and identify improvement areas
- Conducts interviews and assists in hiring decisions
