Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Availability to work full-time onsite at JW Marriott Dallas Arts District
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in related professional area
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards
Job Duties
- Manage the execution of all operations in rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
- Lead specific team to meet or exceed property goals
- Create and nurture a motivated and empowered environment emphasizing teamwork and continuous improvement
- Monitor and respond proactively to employee and guest satisfaction results
- Set clear team expectations in collaboration with the General Manager
- Lead by example demonstrating confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
- Assist employees in understanding and exceeding guests’ changing needs and expectations
