Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- Ability to manage and lead teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of performing hourly operational duties as needed
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data
- Familiarity with quality audit processes

Job Duties
- Manages execution of all operations in rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
- Leads specific team while assisting in meeting or exceeding property goals
- Creates and nurtures a motivating and empowered property environment
- Understands employee and guest satisfaction results and develops action plans
- Sets clear expectations with General Manager for team
- Verifies team capability to meet expectations
- Leads by example demonstrating confidence, energy, enthusiasm
- Assists employees in understanding and exceeding guest expectations
- Follows property specific second effort and recovery plans
- Publishes guest satisfaction results timely
- Takes proactive approaches to employee and guest concerns
- Extends professionalism and courtesy to employees and guests
- Communicates and updates goals and results with employees
- Meets semiannually with staff one-to-one
- Schedules team against guest and hours/occupied room goals
- Monitors compliance with standards and procedures
- Performs hourly job functions as needed
- Provides excellent customer service, being readily available and approachable
- Responds timely to customer service requests
- Verifies all team members meet or exceed hospitality requirements
- Performs required annual quality audits with General Manager and Regional Director
- Verifies a viable key control program is in place
- Reviews financial statements and performance data to measure productivity and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Interviews and assists in hiring decisions
- Promotes Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
- Ensures thorough and timely orientation for new team members
