Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in revenue accounting or F&L accounting in food & beverage, hospitality, or multi-unit retail
- 1-2 years of team supervision experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with ERP platforms, preferably NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
- Ability to analyze and interpret contracts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Aptitude to embody company values and foster a guest-obsessed culture
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with revenue accounting or F&L accounting in food & beverage, hospitality, or multi-unit retail strongly preferred
- 1-2+ years of team supervision experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
- Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts for accounting implications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Manage accounting and reporting for franchise fees, royalties, and licensing agreements
- Review and analyze franchise and licensing contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition
- Lead monthly Store Value Card and Loyalty point reconciliation process
- Supervise and mentor Revenue Specialist team member(s)
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue accounts
- Partner with Legal, Business Development, and Operations to ensure contracts are properly captured in financial systems
- Monitor and reconcile royalty reporting from franchisees and licensees, investigating discrepancies as needed
