Job Requirements

  • Must have current right to live and work in the United States
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years job-related experience or bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 year job-related experience
  • certificate of ticketing and reservations
  • experience in airline or customer related position
  • computer literacy
  • good knowledge of world geography
  • excellent spoken and written English
  • strong knowledge of fare construction and ticketing
  • good numeric skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma with minimum 2 years job-related experience or bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 1 year job-related experience
  • certificate of ticketing and reservations
  • ATA Amadeus certificate is an added advantage
  • working experience in airline or customer related position
  • computer knowledge
  • fair knowledge of world geography
  • excellent English language communication skills - spoken and written
  • thorough knowledge of fare construction and ticketing
  • ability to work independently as well as function as a team
  • numeric skills

Job Duties

  • Handle customer requirement/request professionally ensuring minimum complaints
  • support travel agents with seat confirmation and arrange VIP bookings/ticket queries
  • show dedication and commitment to handle the maximum number of telephone calls and passengers whilst carefully following QR procedures and regulations
  • arrange reservations and routings using Amadeus system to make bookings
  • effectively communicate fares, policies and procedures to passengers providing accurate information
  • issue tickets and quote correct fares to passengers
  • investigate complaints to define and correct weak areas
  • prepare staff roster to ensure proper distribution of manpower
  • ensure quality of work, meet airline standards, motivate staff to achieve positive contribution on daily basis
  • maximize customer satisfaction, service excellence and customer retention and volume of FFP enrolments through friendliness, telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • prepare sales reports for finance and generate weekly reports for Line Manager
  • action office communicator, telephonic and email queries from QR outstations timeously
  • perform other department duties as directed by Head of Department
  • perform Aircraft Turnaround Check (ATC) duty as assigned to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product
  • operate aircraft cabin service doors from outside to reduce safety risk of inadvertent slide deployment
