Job Requirements

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
  • Two years of customer service experience or experience comparable to a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood
  • Possession of valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification at time of hire
  • Availability to work Saturdays
  • Ability to work in outdoor event settings
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
  • Two years of customer service experience or experience comparable to a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood
  • Possession of valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification at time of hire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to enforce policies diplomatically
  • Experience working in public or community service environments

Job Duties

  • Serve as the City’s day-of point of contact during special events
  • Verify event setup and operations align with approved plans
  • Address issues and concerns in real time to ensure compliance
  • Enforce City policies, permit conditions, and special event rules
  • Perform basic site support tasks such as emptying City trash receptacles
  • Communicate effectively with event organizers and attendees
  • Monitor event activities for safety and regulatory adherence
