Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and be eligible to participate in the RSIC Vehicle Insurance Program
- must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate at time of hire
- must have ability to perform basic computer skills
- must have or be able to obtain a Basic First Aid Certificate, CPR, and Food Handler's Certification within three months from date of hire
- must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, particularly with senior members of the tribal community
- must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours in order to accommodate program needs

Job Duties
- Develops and coordinates recreational programs, special events, and speakers
- communicates regularly with seniors to explain programs, respond to inquiries, resolve problems, or refer to appropriate resources
- solicits volunteers to conduct senior-specific programs and to assist with various activities
- prepares public announcements and related collateral materials
- maintains appropriate inventories of supplies and other items consistent with program needs and senior population and completes purchasing forms, as needed
- assists with food preparation, food pantry work and clean-up as required to assist with the daily seniors meal program
- provides transportation for seniors to and from designated locations in RSIC vehicle and delivers lunches to seniors homes on a regular basis
- completes all other duties as assigned by Manager
