Job Requirements
- Experience or college degree in event management, theater production, communications, marketing or related field
- 10 plus years of production delivery experience including at least 3 years in a senior role
- Strong program management, organizational and communication skills
- Management of large-scale events and multiple programs with internal and supplier teams
- Demonstrated production competencies: budgeting, pre-production program development, on-site activation and post-program wrap up
- Strong familiarity and comfort with technology and ability to communicate technical concepts
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Solid understanding of AV, staging, lighting, audio, broadcast/streaming technology is a plus
- Up-to-date knowledge of event industry trends including sustainability and DEI practices
- Expertise in risk identification and contingency planning
- Familiarity with event insurance, security protocols and emergency preparedness
- Experience as stage manager/show caller is a plus
- Experience with trade shows is a plus
- Experience with international events and global audiences is a plus
- Ability to work hybrid in the Detroit office 3 days per week
- Ability to travel as needed for events
- Willingness to work weekends and/or evenings when required

- familiarity with technology and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- proficiency in project management methodologies
- solid understanding of AV, staging, lighting, audio and broadcast/streaming technology
- up-to-date knowledge of event industry trends including sustainability and DEI practices

Job Duties
- Participate in the development of integrated solutions that leverage agency offerings and are mutually beneficial for the client and the agency
- guide the development, writing and presentation of incremental program proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and staffing plans
- build and maintain effective client relationships ensuring timely communication of needs
- ensure clear communication to clients regarding roles, scope, budget, schedules, and program status
- manage the program process from creative through execution using Jack Morton processes and tools
- organize regular team meetings and manage communications to guarantee deadlines are met
- coach and oversee junior team members providing feedback and development
- manage and engage external resources as needed
- make high-level decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- create and manage program budgets, mitigate costs, and develop vendor relationships
- participate in creative brainstorms and ensure integrity of creative treatment in deliverables
- reconcile program costs against budget and report to clients
