Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred or three years of related experience in sales preferably in golf, hospitality or service industry
  • Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Positive, engaging, and team-oriented workplace attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM software
  • Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service orientation and focus on satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and people skills with ability to foster team environment

Job Duties

  • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • Sell and market to external markets such as corporate events, meetings, trainings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, personal milestone events, holiday parties, celebrations of life, school athletic banquets, and fundraisers
  • Act as an ambassador for the property by fostering relationships with individuals and corporations who book events to maintain repeatable and predictable business while prospecting for new events
  • Heighten awareness externally within the community through participation in club events, bridal shows, golf shows, and other public events
  • Represent the property positively in social media and public forums through active and consistent participation
  • Maximize tournament revenues to meet and exceed sales goals through negotiation and effective utilization of tournament products and tee times
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to design custom event menus and communicate upcoming events
  • Generate and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals that meet and exceed budgets
