Job Requirements
- valid California driver's license
- background investigation clearance
- willingness to work day or swing shifts
- availability for weekends and holidays
- ability to work up to 1500 hours within 12 consecutive months
- ability to purchase and wear required uniform
- adherence to grooming standards
- enthusiasm for State Parks mission
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience with park operations
- demonstrated leadership ability
- customer service skills
- valid California driver's license
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- clearance of background investigation
Job Duties
- lead seasonal park aides in kiosk operation
- prepare routine reports and accounting documents for fees collected
- check park facilities and report problems
- handle minor visitor complaints
- explain park policies and regulations
- answer routine questions from the public
- coordinate housekeeping activities
- inspect completed work for quality control and conformance to established standards
- train lower-level seasonal employees
