Job Requirements

Possession of a valid California driver’s license
Clearance of a comprehensive background check including Live Scan fingerprinting
Ability to work up to 189 days or 1500 hours in a 12-month period
Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
Availability to work holidays, weekends, and special events
Willingness to operate off-highway vehicles with provided training
Must not have recent serious traffic violations or repeated moving violations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in customer service or public interaction roles
Familiarity with reservation and data entry systems preferred
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Valid California driver’s license with a safe driving record
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and events

Job Duties

Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors
Assist with formal school programs, tours, interpretive talks, and school orientations
Perform entrance station or counter work, answering visitor questions by phone and in person
Monitor and maintain accurate Reserve-California data for school reservations
Assist visitors with group reservations and invoices
Communicate with Mission San Juan Bautista regarding school reservations, special needs, and requests
Use state vehicles as required and support special events and outreach programs
