Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- availability to work full time
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to conduct daily walkthroughs
- experience managing budgets
- capability to lead a team
- knowledge of guest service excellence

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related field
- OR 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major with 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related field

Job Duties
- Plan and execute meetings and special events
- implement departmental strategies
- execute event management strategy aligned with company business strategy
- conduct daily walkthroughs of banquet floor to ensure client satisfaction and quality
- develop relationships with outside vendors and negotiate service agreements
- create upselling opportunities during event planning
- manage department controllable expenses to meet budgeted goals
- create atmosphere exceeding guest expectations
- set positive example for guest relations
- interact with guests to obtain feedback
