Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Ability to conduct daily event space walkthroughs
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to manage budgets and vendor relationships

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute meetings and special events
  • Implement departmental strategies
  • Ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations and vice versa
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of banquet floors for quality and client satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships
  • Manage departmental controllable expenses and budgets
  • Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints
