Job Duties
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
- maintains an in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations
- processes meat according to specifications including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping meat products
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence
- plans for profitability
- maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- ensures quality and standards for high volume meat products
- eliminates waste
- secures fragile and high shrink merchandise
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored
- acts as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high quality service and products
- executes basics at highest possible level of quality
- interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job duties
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources
- collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners
- identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations
