Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months experience in fresh production department

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
  • communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service
  • tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
  • maintains an in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations
  • processes meat according to specifications including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping meat products
  • ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
  • operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
  • leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
  • utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence
  • plans for profitability
  • maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
  • ensures quality and standards for high volume meat products
  • eliminates waste
  • secures fragile and high shrink merchandise
  • assists members with purchasing decisions
  • ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored
  • acts as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high quality service and products
  • executes basics at highest possible level of quality
  • interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job duties
