Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- forklift certification required
- minimum two years of forklift/tow motor experience preferred
- ability to operate various warehouse equipment
- basic computer and data entry skills
- ability to read and follow safety protocols
- ability to communicate effectively
- must be detail-oriented
- capable of working in a team environment
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work
Job Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- two years forklift/tow motor experience preferred
- ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, tow motor, motorized and non-motorized pallet jacks, clamp, reach and slip sheet equipment
- knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures

Job Duties
- Accurately locate and load customer product using hand and motorized equipment
- count, weigh and record units handled
- complete specialized order processing including stenciling, slip-sheeting, shrink wrapping, labeling and consolidating orders
- assign and verify trailers to docks and yard locations following safety rules
- inspect and maintain tow-motor vehicles and other equipment
- prepare trailers for loading ensuring product preservation
- load and unload customer products and materials using appropriate equipment
- maintain accurate records and reports including Bill of Lading and Pick Report
- complete activity and statistical reports as assigned
- assist in physical inventories ensuring security of facility and contents
- perform sanitation duties and assemble crates or boxes for products
- follow mandatory work instructions including use of personal protective equipment
- apply continuous improvement and lean methodology principles to improve operational efficiency
- meet standards for warehouse safety, quality, productivity, and customer service
