Job Requirements

  • Forklift certification required
  • At least two years forklift or tow motor experience preferred
  • Ability to operate keyboard and use computer equipment for data entry
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, safety rules and procedures
  • Must be able to write clearly
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail for safety and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate professionally and positively
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to operate specialized warehouse equipment such as turret clamp and slip sheet machines
  • Must follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Two years forklift and tow motor experience preferred
  • Ability to operate a variety of forklifts including sit down, stand up, clamp, reach and slip-sheet equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Team player with professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Accurately locate and load customer products using motorized equipment such as forklifts
  • Count, weigh and record materials handled on production sheets
  • Complete specialized order processing including stenciling, slip-sheeting, shrink wrapping and labeling
  • Assign and verify trailers to docks or yard locations, ensuring safety and company policies are followed
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on tow-motor vehicles and other equipment
  • Load and unload orders following company procedures and complete related paperwork
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities
