Job Requirements
- Forklift certification required
- At least two years forklift or tow motor experience preferred
- Ability to operate keyboard and use computer equipment for data entry
- Ability to read and understand instructions, safety rules and procedures
- Must be able to write clearly
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to maintain attention to detail for safety and accuracy
- Ability to communicate professionally and positively
- Must be a team player
- Ability to operate specialized warehouse equipment such as turret clamp and slip sheet machines
- Must follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment where applicable
Job Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Two years forklift and tow motor experience preferred
- Ability to operate a variety of forklifts including sit down, stand up, clamp, reach and slip-sheet equipment
- Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures
- Basic data entry skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to write legibly
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English
- Team player with professional attitude
Job Duties
- Accurately locate and load customer products using motorized equipment such as forklifts
- Count, weigh and record materials handled on production sheets
- Complete specialized order processing including stenciling, slip-sheeting, shrink wrapping and labeling
- Assign and verify trailers to docks or yard locations, ensuring safety and company policies are followed
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on tow-motor vehicles and other equipment
- Load and unload orders following company procedures and complete related paperwork
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities
