Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification required
  • Minimum two years forklift or tow motor experience preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. to midnight
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and operating motorized warehouse equipment
  • Willingness to adhere to safety policies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Preferred two years forklift or tow motor experience
  • Ability to operate specialized equipment such as turret clamps and slip-sheet equipment
  • Familiarity with RF units
  • Understanding of warehouse safety and sanitation practices
  • Proficient in completing paperwork related to loading and shipping
  • Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual labor tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety regulations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and equipment use

Job Duties

  • Accurately locate and load customer product using both manual and motorized equipment
  • Count, weigh and record units of materials handled daily
  • Complete specialized order processing such as shrink wrapping, labeling, and consolidating orders
  • Assign and verify trailers to appropriate dock and yard locations following safety protocols
  • Inspect and perform maintenance on tow-motor vehicles and other equipment
  • Load picked orders and complete related paperwork including Bill of Lading and Pick Report
  • Unload, move, stack and stage products using manual and power equipment while maintaining records
  • Complete activity and statistical reports as assigned
  • Assist with physical inventories ensuring security of facility and contents
  • Provide miscellaneous services such as sanitation, assembling crates, and moving materials
  • Follow mandatory safety instructions including use of personal protective equipment
  • Apply continuous improvement and 5S Lean methods to improve efficiency and maintain facility orderliness
  • Meet and occasionally exceed company standards for warehouse safety, quality, productivity and customer service
