Job Requirements

  • Forklift certification required
  • Minimum two years forklift or tow motor experience
  • Ability to operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
  • Write legibly
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to make decisions on customer acceptance
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be a team player
  • Effective communication skills
  • English language proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Minimum two years forklift or tow motor experience
  • Ability to operate sit down and stand up forklifts, tow motor, motorized and non-motorized pallet jacks, clamps, reach trucks, and slip sheet equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities based on experience
  • Attention to detail and continuous mental and visual attention
  • Proficiency in English
  • Team player
  • Excellent professional and positive communication skills

Job Duties

  • Accurately locate and load customer products using manual and motorized equipment
  • Count, weigh, and record materials handled
  • Complete specialized order processing such as stenciling, slip-sheeting, shrink wrapping, labeling, and consolidating
  • Assign and verify trailers to dock and yard locations, ensuring safety compliance
  • Conduct daily inspection and maintenance of tow-motor vehicles and other equipment
  • Prepare trailers for loading ensuring product preservation
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and safety through building and grounds maintenance
  • Load and unload customer products keeping accurate records and reports
  • Complete activity and statistical reports as assigned
  • Assist in physical inventories and secure facility contents
  • Perform sanitation activities and assemble crates as directed
  • Follow safety instructions and use required personal protective equipment
  • Apply continuous improvement models and Lean methodologies to improve efficiency
  • Meet and exceed company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service
