Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related training equivalent
- minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in maritime logistics, broker or carrier
- proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- supplier negotiation experience
- leadership skills
- ability to manage time and priorities
- authorized to work in the U.S
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related training equivalent
- minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in maritime logistics, broker or carrier
- sales or sales management experience preferred
- commodity and/or engineering plastics market experience
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel
- proficiency analyzing and presenting data
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- supplier negotiation experience
- leadership skills that can be displayed in a complex environment
- experience with contract and cost negotiation
- ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities
- fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
- authorized to work in the U.S
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders to escalate issues related to maritime partners
- resolve escalated issues and ensure timely communication of resolutions to relevant stakeholders
- monitor and track open issues, providing proactive updates to stakeholders throughout the resolution process
- support the processing of claims related to maritime services and address invoicing discrepancies
- analyze and develop strategies that align commercial requirements with the capabilities of ocean carriers and freight forwarding partners
- build and maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and freight forwarders to strengthen the Ravago partnership
- promote business continuity by encouraging cross-training and knowledge sharing within the team
