Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, mass communications, or related field
  • Seven plus years of experience in strategy and development or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to manage projects and make recommendations impacting business performance
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and influencing executives across multiple locations
  • Strong collaboration and consensus-building skills within marketing and sales teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Consistent attendance
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Lead the development, preparation, and consolidation of strategic analyses of Universal Kids Resort's marketing and sales initiatives to optimize resource allocation
  • Identify strategic product opportunities for short- and long-term growth by tracking market evolution, brand, product, and service opportunities, and analyzing competitive and marketing trends
  • Develop product strategies and programs to maximize attendance, average per visitor (APV), and repeat visitation while driving hotel occupancy through targeted campaigns
  • Assess new business opportunities through research and competitive intelligence and provide fact-based recommendations
  • Manage the integration and alignment efforts within Marketing & Sales and other local and portfolio divisions
  • Oversee performance and responsibilities of direct reports and department, emphasizing company vision, culture, and staff development
  • Develop new product or service ideas to exceed consumer expectations and support hotel marketing strategies during theme park closure periods
