Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree aviation business or related field or equivalent experience
- Five plus years of experience at a large or medium hub airport
- Three plus years mid-level management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful clearance of pre-employment background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Clearance of drug screening

- Knowledge of airfield operations FAR Parts 139 and 77 TSA 1542 terminal and landside operations or aptitude to learn these
Job Duties
- Establish priorities strategic direction and training programs for the ADM AOS teams
- Responsible for the ADM AOS team readiness to respond to day-to-day operations as well as irregular and emergency operational incidents
- Ensure effective management of all programs and requirements including Part 139 Federal Aviation Regulation FAR inspections terminal landside inspections airfield driver training ADM AOS training both initial and recurrent gate RON management Standard Operating Procedures citation management
- Oversee AOS developmental programs and career progression opportunities
- Ensure PDX operations comply with regulations and policies from FAA TSA Port etc
- Serve as direct supervisor for all ADMs and assign AOS direct reports to the individual ADMs
- Manage recruitment onboarding training development and termination of direct reports as necessary
- Perform coaching conversations counsel employees and coordinate with Human Resources on sensitive performance issues
- Develop shift schedules for ADM AOS teams evaluate identify staffing needs and communicate shortfalls to senior management
- Manage vacation submittals spot leave and out-of-cycle requests for time off
- Ensure logistical requirements are met in support of airport operations
- Oversee management and procurement of vehicles uniforms supplies tools and equipment to enable successful operations
