Job Requirements

- minimum 2 years experience in event management or related field
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
- strong communication skills
- ability to work full time on-site

Job Duties
- prepare all event documentation
- coordinate with sales, property departments and customers
- ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all event phases
- handle complex events
- lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- identify and resolve operational challenges
- manage customer budgets
- oversee customer experiences from file turnover to post-event phase
- conduct pre- and post-event meetings to review group needs and feedback
- manage group room blocks and meeting space
- adhere to standards, policies, and procedures
- recognize team member contributions
- up-sell products and services
- participate in customer site inspections
- act as liaison between sales and customers
- manage event revenue and profitability
- forecast group room and event revenue
- review billing and payments with clients
- interact with guests for feedback
- handle guest problems and complaints
- maintain presence during all event phases
- follow up post-event
- greet customers during event phase and transition to Event Operations
- improve service performance
- set positive example for guest relations
- review guest satisfaction results
- coordinate and communicate event details with customers
