Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of three years leadership experience
  • Minimum of three years experience in inflight training
  • Ability to complete initial flight attendant training and hold FAA flight attendant certificate
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work non-standard hours including nights and weekends
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Fluent in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Three years of leadership experience
  • Three years of experience in inflight training
  • Ability to complete Sun Country Airlines Initial Flight Attendant Training Program and hold FAA flight attendant certificate
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Solid knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Part 121 operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Successfully pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in curriculum development and design preferred
  • Experience in electronic recordkeeping preferred
  • Experience in Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and lead the inflight training team
  • Revise and maintain the FAA approved flight attendant training manual
  • Ensure flight attendant training programs comply with FAA and company standards
  • Maintain and track all flight attendant training records as per federal regulations
  • Oversee development and maintenance of all flight attendant training materials and courseware
  • Coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of all flight attendant training events
  • Conduct regular instructor audits to ensure compliant and standardized training
  • Audit policies and procedures for FAA and TSA regulatory compliance
  • Select, train, and oversee Air Transportation Supervisors and Ground Instructors
  • Support instructor team with resources and instructor training courses
  • Participate in internal and external audits including FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD
  • Manage inflight training budget
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by VP Inflight
  • Work non-standard hours including nights and weekends for training events
