Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in human resources, hospitality, or a related field
  • SHRM-SCP or other professional HR certification
  • experience with a variety of property sizes and types
  • experience working in LAC
  • multi-property experience
  • minimum of 10 years progressive HR experience
  • minimum of 2 years senior leadership experience
  • bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • 10 plus years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
  • demonstrated success in hospitality, lifestyle or brand-led environments
  • people-first leadership mindset
  • experience leading sensitive investigations and resolving complex colleague issues
  • deep understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and organizational development
  • well-developed business and financial acumen
  • strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • understanding of Latin American cultural norms
  • confident and persuasive executive presence
  • proven cultural and change management experience
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with HR operating systems such as EIS, UKG/Kronos/Dimensions, Taleo
  • ability to travel as required

Job Duties

  • Partner with Field Operations leadership to embed people strategy into business strategy
  • champion vibrant, care-based cultures aligned with brand DNA
  • support property HR leaders in compliance and operational excellence
  • collaborate with Americas HR Regional team to align global and regional HR strategies
  • utilize data insights to mitigate risk and enhance colleague experience
  • lead complex colleague relations matters with empathy and fairness
  • identify and develop high-potential HR talent across the portfolio
  • support GM performance management and leadership development
  • collaborate cross-functionally to keep property HR leaders informed on labor legislation and market trends
  • guide strategic people initiatives including organizational design, change management, and wage planning
  • ensure operational excellence in HR Hub including payroll, engagement, and employee relations
