Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 8 years progressive food service experience
- Experience supervising small to mid-size teams
- Proven compliance oversight with regulatory agencies
- Experience leading complex food service projects
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification within 6 months
- Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Ability to present in senior-level meetings
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage performance, training, and development of team members
- Physical capability to perform job duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work scheduled shifts including rotating weekends
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 8 years progressive food service experience
- Experience managing small to mid-size teams in supervisory or leadership roles
- Proven ability to oversee compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Experience leading complex food service projects from planning to execution
- Skilled in engaging cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager or ANSI-approved certification within 6 months
- Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days and maintained thereafter
Job Duties
- Manage assigned food services staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards including The DNV, Health Department, Commission Medicare Services, Occupational Safety and Health Agency
- Develop, interpret, and enforce organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Lead departmental Quality Assurance program
- Maintain computerized Food Service management system
- Assist in budget preparation process and adhere to budgetary guidelines
- Support the Director in administrative and supervisory functions and assume full responsibility in Director's absence
