Job Requirements

- ability to work onsite three days a week in Malvern, PA

Job Duties
- Leads the development of the workplace events strategy and vision, identifies OKRs, and socializes with stakeholders for approvals
- hires, evaluates, and supervises crew, provides guidance and training to develop crew, sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes compensation decisions
- consults with senior leaders in business areas to deliver top-quality and cost-effective meetings and events aligned with business objectives and Vanguard's brand strategy
- strategizes and manages large-scale conferences and events, recommends and implements creative and innovative practices for continuous improvement
- develops and maintains knowledge of conference and event industry forces, competition, and trends, monitors financial, legal, and regulatory considerations
- creates detailed plans consistent with marketing and business objectives, develops cost/benefit analyses, leads continuous-improvement efforts, manages business plans and budgets, oversees metrics on performance, quality, and costs
- fosters effective communication and partnership with external partners, liaises between internal and external partners
- assesses team capacity, works with businesses to prioritize requests, ensures contingency plans are developed, tested, and updated
- participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
