Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of safety experience in large-scale construction environments
  • Valid driver's license with access to a personal vehicle for site travel
  • Ability to conduct daily site walks and inspections
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to submit to drug testing as required
  • Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week for a 1-year duration

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative or similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in safety reporting tools and computer systems
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Act as the on-site safety representative for the owner
  • Collaborate with General Contractors to ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Perform daily assessments and observations of construction activities
  • Document findings and provide actionable insights through reports
  • Attend and contribute to safety and project coordination meetings
  • Travel between multiple project sites as needed
