Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of safety experience in large-scale construction environments
- Valid driver's license with access to a personal vehicle for site travel
- Ability to conduct daily site walks and inspections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to submit to drug testing as required
- Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week for a 1-year duration
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management
- Experience serving as an Owner's Representative or similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in safety reporting tools and computer systems
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously
Job Duties
- Act as the on-site safety representative for the owner
- Collaborate with General Contractors to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Perform daily assessments and observations of construction activities
- Document findings and provide actionable insights through reports
- Attend and contribute to safety and project coordination meetings
- Travel between multiple project sites as needed
