Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality food preparation
  • Experience in scratch cooking in a high volume, fine dining setting
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.
  • Culinary training certification or degree in culinary preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and manually handle materials up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Capacity to perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, and reaching regularly
  • Willingness to work in a senior living community environment

Job Duties

  • Maintains documentation of all temperature charts and records
  • Oversees and directs dining service team members in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Accurately completes all food production records in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepares food items following proper procedures specified by the Executive Chef
  • Supports residents by providing nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to senior dietary needs
  • Ensures kitchen complies with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborates with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
