Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with senior populations preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Empathetic listening skills
- Ability to motivate and engage residents
- Creative and enthusiastic attitude
- Capable of performing administrative tasks
- Valid driver’s license if transporting residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in senior activities coordination or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate and positively influence residents
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Participates in creating a multi-faceted daily and monthly activity calendar
- Assists the Activities Director in leading activities and encourages resident participation
- Helps plan and implement activities that meet all residents’ interests
- Maintains and updates resident sign-up sheets
- Orders supplies for activities
- Promotes and encourages resident leadership in events
- Transports residents to functions using company vehicles if applicable
