Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift
  • Capacity to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds
  • Physical requirements include reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food orders promptly, adhering to memorized standard recipes
  • Oversee food production to ensure that high-quality standards are consistently met
  • Manage stock levels at your station, including ordering supplies as needed
  • Prepare and coordinate food orders for pick-up efficiently
  • Maintain an impeccably clean work station and storage areas at all times
  • Reduce waste by practicing proper food rotation, storage, and quantity control
  • Strictly follow established safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in training and mentoring new Line Cooks to excel in their roles
