Job Requirements
- 3+ years of culinary or restaurant leadership experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must possess a valid driver's license for occasional duties such as providing shift coverage, delivering large catering orders, and local restaurant marketing
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours each shift
- Capable of reaching, bending, balancing, and transporting objects weighing up to 30 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperature levels in the kitchen
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of prior culinary or restaurant leadership experience
- Experience mentoring and training team members
- Understanding of inventory management, cost of goods, and financial control
- Proficient in operating kitchen equipment and maintaining knives
- Able to work in varying temperature levels in the kitchen
- Leadership experience in casual or upscale dining environments
- Experience in a restaurant chain or franchise with established processes and protocols
Job Duties
- Lead a high-volume, scratch kitchen culinary team with food prep and execution of menu items, providing clear direction throughout shifts
- Ensure guest satisfaction through memorable culinary experiences
- Develop, mentor, and inspire your culinary team to continue to learn and teach
- Promote a fun and positive family work environment
- Assist with scheduling, interviewing, and hiring new team members
- Provide feedback and recognition to staff
- Maintain product quality standards by performing regular line checks
- Engage in prep and line cooking activities as needed during shifts to ensure timely execution
- Follow and execute all state safety and sanitation guidelines
- Contribute to building sales and maximizing financial success for the restaurant
- Assist with cost control and food inventories as directed by the Executive Chef
