Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years previous hotel sales experience
  • Knowledge of business travel account management
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively use a computer including Delphi, branded hotel PMS, Work, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to listen and communicate effectively in English with excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Thorough organization and time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years previous hotel sales experience
  • Knowledge of business travel account management
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to use computer systems including Delphi and hotel PMS
  • Excellent English communication skills with grammar and spelling
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Present, promote and sell rooms and function spaces to current and potential clients
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from all sources
  • Identify and contact sales prospects and other accounts as assigned
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain current product knowledge and sales materials
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Participate in sales events such as seminars, trade shows, receptions, and telemarketing events
  • Maintain account information and department files, reports and correspondence
  • Prepare status reports including activity, production and adherence to goals
  • Assist in implementing company marketing plans as needed
  • Provide additional assistance to staff and customers as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
