Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in hotel operations management
- At least 2 years experience in a senior leadership role
- Proven ability to manage multiple hotel departments successfully
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and guest relations
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with hotel management software and property management systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding of food and beverage operations preferred
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role such as Assistant General Manager or Operations Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple hotel departments and achieving operational and financial goals
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and guest relations
- Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems such as Property Management Systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A strong understanding of food and beverage operations is highly desirable
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences
Job Duties
- Direct and manage all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve departmental goals and maximize profitability
- Oversee budget development and management for all operating departments, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, brand standards, and local/state regulations
- Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Implement and maintain high standards of guest service, resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Conduct regular inspections of property and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
- Monitor and analyze operational performance data, implementing changes to improve efficiency and guest experience
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive revenue and occupancy rates
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and a guest-centric approach
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in hotel management
