Job Qualifications
- BA or BS degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics or equivalent degree
- five or more years of progressive experience in dietetics or healthcare foodservice management
- Certified Dietary Manager certification considered an asset
- excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- proven ability to develop and implement cost reduction and quality improvement programs
- strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
- demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, collaborative, and team-oriented culture
Job Duties
- Oversees day-to-day management of the FANS department and ensures service support objectives are met
- provides operational and technical support to stakeholders and management teams
- develops and implements standardized policies and procedures for FANS expense management and operations
- manages program budgets including preparation, review, and reporting
- conducts performance improvement audits and prepares related reports
- hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff, handling disciplinary actions as necessary
- ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and maintains food safety and quality standards
