Job Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics or equivalent degree
  • five or more years of progressive experience in dietetics or healthcare foodservice management
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification considered an asset
  • excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • proven ability to develop and implement cost reduction and quality improvement programs
  • strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, collaborative, and team-oriented culture

Job Duties

  • Oversees day-to-day management of the FANS department and ensures service support objectives are met
  • provides operational and technical support to stakeholders and management teams
  • develops and implements standardized policies and procedures for FANS expense management and operations
  • manages program budgets including preparation, review, and reporting
  • conducts performance improvement audits and prepares related reports
  • hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff, handling disciplinary actions as necessary
  • ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and maintains food safety and quality standards
