Job Requirements

  • Four year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Five plus years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries
  • Proven track record of building, developing and retaining high performing teams
  • Strong relationship building skills with clients, investors, ownership groups and vendors
  • Experience managing budget and/or profit and loss
  • Proficiency with industry software such as YARDI, apps and computer programs
  • Strong financial skills with basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Sharp professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Lead by example and be a role model for the company culture and core values
  • Inspire the team to execute sales, marketing, and operational activities to achieve occupancy and retention goals
  • Manage financial performance according to the established budget
  • Coach team members on their contribution to overall success
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial and operational reports to clients and ownership
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with owners, residents, employees, and vendors
  • Analyze competitive marketplace and coach team on differentiating the community
  • Partner with consumer marketing to implement community marketing strategies
  • Ensure consistent guest satisfaction and high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Work weekend shifts approximately one weekend per month
  • Inspire professional growth and development of team members
  • Support participation in training and educational opportunities
  • Build a motivating team environment
  • Provide real-time coaching and development opportunities
  • Manage performance through reviews, feedback, and development plans
  • Engage with residents and team members through meaningful conversations
  • Resolve customer issues with empathy and responsiveness
  • Maintain community standards and assist in operational tasks as needed
