Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, supply chain management, agricultural economics, international relations, or related field
- Minimum three years experience as a dry cargo operator, vessel logistics specialist, or related position in the agricultural or bulk commodity sector
- Demonstrated experience managing dry bulk cargo shipments on Panamax, Supramax, or Handy sized vessels
- Ability to interpret international trade laws and maritime regulations
- Proficiency in using IMOS voyage handling software and port cost platforms
- Experience with Softmar or equivalent chartering software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- Three years experience as a dry cargo operator, vessel logistics specialist, or similar role in the agricultural or bulk commodity industry
- Experience handling dry bulk cargoes on Panamax, Supramax, or Handy sized vessels
- Knowledge of international trade, shipping policies, and maritime law
- Proficiency with IMOS integrated voyage handling system
- Familiarity with port disbursement cost platforms
- Experience using Softmar or similar chartering systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
Job Duties
- Prepare initial shipping instructions for voyages
- Calculate cargo and bunker fuel requirements
- Manage profit and loss for shipping voyages
- Process vessel hire and freight payments
- Finalize voyage details for Panamax, Supramax, and Handy vessels
- Appoint agents, surveyors, and port captains
- Communicate effectively with ship owners, charterers, brokers, traders, and insurance companies
- Coach trainees and newcomers on procedures and departmental activities
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations
- Oversee maritime legal disputes and coordinate with the legal department
- Coordinate the freight operations team to ensure timely deliveries
