Job Requirements
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification or Dietetic Service Supervisor Certificate or currently enrolled in related program with 2-year established completion date
- Active ServeSafe certificate
- Ability to practice safe food handling techniques
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, reach, lift, push, and pull for prolonged time in hot or cold areas
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and meet production schedules
- Proficient computer skills for food management system operation and report generation
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
- Ability to train, coach, and evaluate staff effectively
- Proactive approach to organizational improvement
- Willingness to work at Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital
Job Qualifications

- Experience working in hospital settings such as Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital
Job Duties
- Supervising, training, and evaluating food service supervisors and workers
- Monitoring tray operations to ensure timely patient meal service
- Coordinating cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas
- Managing daily activities of the call center, running reports, and checking communication and tray pick-up logs
- Performing ambassador and patient floor rounds
- Making recommendations on service improvements
