Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Minimum three years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Ability to operate department equipment and manage inventory
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze information and solve problems
  • Capability to perform employee coaching and disciplinary procedures
  • Familiarity with performance appraisal processes
  • Willingness to work full time in a management role at the specified location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Three years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Knowledge of brand specific service culture
  • Experience with managing budgets and operating statements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
  • Assists in the ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program
  • Operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction
  • Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Manages beverage purchasing and control procedures and ensures staff is trained accordingly
