Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- At least two years of management experience in food and beverage
- Experience working in luxury or upscale hospitality environments
- Solid knowledge of wine and spirits
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-touch setting
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of restaurant leadership experience
- Experience in a luxury or Forbes-rated hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Familiarity with food and beverage operations and legal compliance
Job Duties
- Prepare, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of food and beverage departments, primarily the lobby lounge
- Work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership to create promotions and specials for the lobby lounge
- Support in the planning and direction of all Food & Beverage functions
- Develop, implement, and monitor schedules for the lobby lounge operation to achieve profitable results
- Implement controls of food, beverage, and labor costs and monitor the budget to ensure efficiency
- Regularly review and respond to customer satisfaction issues and recommend new operating or marketing policies
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to food and beverage
- Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel, and evaluate line employees according to Hilton policies
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations
