Job Requirements
- Must be able to stay on feet for 8 hours plus
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and environments
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests
- Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Must maintain complete confidentiality regarding team member relations and sensitive information

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years of food and beverage management experience or equivalent
- One year of restaurant leadership experience in a hotel environment or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Financial knowledge
- Manager alcohol awareness certification
- Manager food service permit as required by local or state agency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards as required by scheduling
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper dress
- Always comply with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Be visible and interact with guests and team members to provide consistently high levels of quality service
- Ensure all communication with culinary team and managers in the food and beverage department is accurate
- Manage the Open Table system with host team to ensure guest and shift reservations accuracy
- Assist host team with guest greeting and seating during peak operation times
- Organize daily shift documentation including pre-shift reports, training topics, shift floor plans, and requisitions
- Monitor and test service skills of staff
- retrain and reinforce service standards daily
- Provide feedback and appraisals to staff as necessary
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of dining rooms and work areas
- communicate safety and maintenance issues
- Conduct monthly outlet meetings for staff training and motivation
- Attend interdepartmental meetings for cross-department communication
- Assist in developing marketing initiatives, menu items, and sales growth strategies
- Control budgeted and forecasted revenues, payroll, and product costs
- Ensure adherence to accounting and people services policies
- Report issues and grievances to director of outlets and people services
- Maintain all Micros programming for food and beverage outlets
- Monitor hotel activities and troubleshoot problems
- Operate word processing programs
- Perform general cleaning tasks to meet health standards
- Perform additional assigned duties as necessary
