Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an executive chef in a high volume atmosphere
  • ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
  • culinary degree from a reputable culinary school preferred
  • strong leadership and management skills with ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability
  • in-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a guest focused mindset
  • proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • high level of computer literacy
  • experience in the use of social media preferred

Job Duties

  • building a strong partnership with onsite partner and developing a shared culinary vision for the location
  • representing Levy and business objectives at partner meetings and networking events
  • overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation across the culinary department
  • interviewing applicants for positions requiring hiring consideration and approval
  • identifying opportunities and driving improvements in food and financial performance
  • overseeing season planning to align with Levy and partner goals
  • managing menu design and updates based on food trends, costs, and popularity
  • overseeing project management of construction and refurbishment activities
  • conducting event walks to interact with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs
  • creating menu build diagrams
  • collaborating with regional and Home Office culinary teams to evolve guest food experiences
  • partnering with leadership team to develop a location strategic plan
  • conducting department safety walks to maintain high safety and cleanliness standards
