Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in culinary or related field
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, marketing, or related areas
  • Ability to lead and innovate within a matrix organizational structure
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure
  • Capability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors

Job Duties

  • Create, plan, and test innovative culinary concepts for retail and patient services
  • Provide culinary leadership and training to ensure compliance with culinary standards and procurement procedures
  • Participate in segment culinary project teams to drive innovation
  • Develop marketing strategies and coordinate marketing activities for Johns Hopkins Hospital
  • Manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocations for culinary projects
  • Collaborate with outside partners and vendors to coordinate culinary activities
  • Drive client and consumer satisfaction, retention, and segment profitability goals
