Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in hospitality business or marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in high-volume sales or event management
  • Proven leadership including coaching mentoring hiring and training
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with understanding of data analysis and market trends
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work long irregular hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to quickly learn CRM and event management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all staff levels

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality business marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in sales or event management
  • Proven leadership experience in sales environment including coaching and mentoring
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and TripleSeat preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive sales for private and corporate events including parties and conferences
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to exceed event sales targets
  • Research and develop special event profit generating opportunities
  • Create leads and maintain long-term relationships with event planning and production communities
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams for seamless event execution
  • Oversee event logistics, sales contracts, and event calendar management
  • Partner with catering team to support customized menus and event services
  • Collaborate with marketing team on promotional materials and campaigns
  • Represent the venue at industry and networking events
  • Provide exceptional customer service and conduct site tours for prospective clients
