Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years experience in event management or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Ability to solve problems and suggest event alternatives
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work full time in Orlando, Florida

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare event documentation coordinating with sales and property departments
  • Solve operational challenges and suggest alternatives
  • Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
  • Manage customer budgets to maximize revenue
  • Oversee customer experiences from file turnover to post-event
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting space
  • Act as liaison between sales and customer throughout the event process
