Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- Ability to lead meetings and manage multiple events
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and revenue management
- Ability to work full-time on site
- Temporary employment status
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in event management or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and profitability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities to support and act on behalf of directors
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments and customers
- Handle complex events and ensure seamless transition between sales and service
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
- Manage customer budgets and maximize revenue
- Oversee group room blocks and meeting space management
- Upsell products and services throughout the event process
- Provide exceptional customer service including handling guest feedback and complaints
