Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree event management hospitality communications public relations or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in event management
  • Proof of successful completion of multiple level projects
  • Strong organizational skills teamwork technical skills time management
  • Ability to handle complex projects
  • Collegiality fairness ability to engage other aoc departments
  • Self-motivated collaborative persistent fair and balanced dependable detail oriented
  • Available to attend evening and weekend meetings and events as necessary
  • Must demonstrate understanding respect and support for catholic church teaching mission and values
  • Appreciate role of schools as ministry of the archdiocese

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in creating and maintaining the events calendar ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and events
  • Serve as liaison with the communications team to promote archdiocesan events and ensure consistent messaging
  • Coordinate logistics for archdiocesan events including masses award ceremonies retreats fundraisers events associated with the department of parish vitality and mission and the vicar general's office and other initiatives as assigned
  • Manage the online registration process for events under the strategic direction of the events manager including troubleshooting and participant support
  • Ensure accurate processing tracking and deposit of payments received through both physical methods and online registration platforms
  • Assist in providing on-site event support including registration catering coordination room setup and breakdown and other logistical needs to ensure successful execution
  • Collaborate with archdiocesan staff to support seamless event operations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
